Welcome to Merriwa Preschool & Activity Centre!
We are a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that has been providing quality early childhood education and care since 1977. Our preschool program operates 5 days a week from 8am to 3:30pm, we also offer after school and vacation care for primary school-aged children.
At Merriwa Preschool & Activity Centre, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and grow. Our experienced and qualified educators are passionate about helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.

Our Programs
We offer a range of programs to meet the needs of children and families in our community.

PRESCHOOL
Our preschool program is designed for children aged 3-5 years old. Our play-based curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework and is focused on helping children develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.

AFTER SCHOOL & VACATION CARE
Our after school and vacation care programs provide a safe and supportive environment for primary school-aged children. 
Our program is designed to keep children entertained and engaged after school and during school holidays. We offer a range of age-appropriate activities and excursions that are both fun and educational.
