Daily fees – Preschool

Merriwa Preschool & Activity Centre is a non-profit organisation, fees are set by the management committee and reflect the cost of service provision.

Fees for 2024 are:

Enrolment fee – New Enrolments $150, Returning Enrolments $100

Daily fee – non equity families $40

Daily fee – Equity families $30

 

Fee relief

Fee relief is available through the Start Strong for Community Preschool program and provides eligible families with a minimum of 2 fee free days per week – up to the value of $1055 per term. To be eligible, children must be 3 years old on or before 31 July. Families must also complete a fee relief declaration and start strong consent form (both provided on commencement of enrolment process) Families can only access fee relief at one Early Childhood service per child at any one time.

 

Daily Fees – Merriwa Activity Centre

The Merriwa Activity Centre offers After School and Vacation care at reasonable prices. Permanent enrolment fees are $50 for the first child and $10 for each additional sibling. We invite permanent After School Care bookings throughout the school term at a rate of $30 per session and offer casual bookings at $40 per session, Vacation care bookings start at $51 per session. All fees are sessional, regardless of attended hours and/or cancellations. 

 

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The child care subsidy (CCS) is available through the federal government for families that meet the criteria for work and activity. This subsidy calculates your needs and reduces your out of pocket fees. Sometimes the fee for care can be as low as a few dollars per session. We are happy to support you as you link with us and the CCS.
